Schedule

HSE conferences are cloistered events. It is necessary to attend all aspects of the conference. We encourage on-time arrival and staying until dismissal on Sunday. If you are unable to attend the full conference, please plan to attend at another time.

What to Bring?

  • Release Forms -  All guests must have all 4 forms to participate. (under 18 must be signed by legal guardian)

Due to allergies, we ask that you avoid wearing strongly scented perfumes, colognes, lotions, or using diffusers during the weekend.

  • Bedding for Twin Bed: rooms sleep up to 6 people with shared bathroom
  • Pillow
  • Personal Toiletry Items and Towels
  • CPAP and Electronic devices - please bring an extension cord for any necessary electronic device
  • Comfortable Clothing - dress is casual (jeans & t-shirts). Please bring appropriate outerwear and comfortable shoes.
  • Flashlight - all pathways are well lit. Flashlights are recommended for nighttime use, when sharing a room with other guests who may be asleep.
  • Umbrella - for outdoor transitions between housing, dining, and conference/chapel buildings.
  • Bible - while we recognize many people use Bible apps on their mobile devices, we encourage guests to limit use to fully engage in their Encounter.
  • Water bottle and/or Coffee Mug

Accommodations

HSE Conferences are held in beautiful northwest Georgia at Holy Spirit Village at the White Columns at Kingston retreat center in Kingston, Ga.

 

Participants are housed in rooms with approximately 3-6 guests in each room. Rooms contain 3 twin bunk-beds and private bathroom with two sinks and stand-up shower. We ask that participants supply their own bed linens and toiletry products (i.e.: towels, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, etc.). Special needs accommodations are available upon request EMAIL US.

 

We work to accommodate roommate request with the exception of guests and servers, as they do not typically share dorm accommodations.

From Marietta, GA

Take I-75 North to GA-20, EXIT 290, toward Rome/Canton (Left). Continue 2.35 miles and turn left onto HWY 411 NE/US-411 S/GA-61. Go approximately .5 miles and merge onto Joe Frank Harris Pkwy SE/US-41 N/GA-3 towards Kingston/Rome. Travel 3.6 miles, passing the Rome exit. Do not take the Rome exit. After crossing the bridge, take the next left on Boyd Morris Road. At the end of the road, turn right onto HWY 293. In approximately 6 miles, White Columns at Kingston will be on the right, across from Church Street. Enter the main entrance and registration will be the first building (Hope Hall) on the left. Park in the lot to the left of Hope Hall, down small hill in grass/gravel lot.

 

From Cartersville, GA

Go north on Hwy 41 (Joe Frank Harris Parkway) until you pass the Rome exit. Do not take the Rome exit. After crossing the bridge, take the next left on Boyd Morris Road.
