Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy

HSE follows guidelines set forth by the CDC and the State of Georgia Department of Health. We encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with these before participating in one of our events or conferences.

As we continue our efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19 we are instituting the following guidelines:

  • if you are sick or showing symptoms of any sickness, we ask that you do not participate any  hse event or conference
  • if you or anyone in your household has been exposed to someone who has tested positive in the past 14 days of the start of an hse event or conference, we ask that you do not participate.

Conference Weekend Protocols:

  • We are advising that the CDC recommends that "people wear masks in public settings and when around people who don’t live in your household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain."
  • All participants will undergo daily temperature checks. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be asked to go home.
  • Upon check-in all participants will be asked the following questions and a 'yes' answer to any result in asking that you do not attend the conference:
  1. Are you showing any symptoms of sickness?
  2. Have you been in direct contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
  3. Have you tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?

If you have any of the following underlying health conditions, we ask that you do not participate in any HSE event or conference:

Over the Age of 65, Asthma, Diabetes, Heart Conditions, Immunocompromised, Kidney Disease, Liver Disease, Lung Disease, or Obesity
